A Little Bit About Me

          With over 8 years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of helping over 70 students build their math confidence. My educational journey began at Georgia State University, where I earned my Bachelor's degree, and I am currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Teaching. As a former middle school math teacher, I have worked with students of all ability levels, from middle school to college, focusing on making math both accessible and engaging for everyone.

          Throughout my career, I have taught both in the classroom and online, gaining valuable experience working with middle and high school students. Whether in-person or virtually, I bring enthusiasm, patience, and creativity to every session. I tailor my teaching methods to each student, using a combination of interactive lessons, visual aids, and personalized support to ensure that math becomes approachable, enjoyable, and empowering.

          I am deeply passionate about helping students overcome their struggles and reach their full potential. My commitment to teaching is rooted in my belief that every student can succeed with the right guidance. When I’m not tutoring, you can find me spending time with my rescue dog, Willow, working out, or baking vegan treats.
